I am the proud mother of the sweetest little peach ever. My husband, Jim, and I are thrilled with our roles as parents and we are completely smitten with our daughter. We live in North Carolina with our daughter, of course, and our first girl, a chocolate lab. A former elementary school teacher, I now teach part-time at a local college and spend my days playing with my baby, drinking coffee, grading papers and trying to keep the house somewhat clean! I love to read and write, and love the writing opportunities this blog has provided for me. Originally started to keep in touch with far-flung family and friends, I also hope that Peaches will one day appreciate the stories and pictures from our lives.
